UMANG 2024

Delhi Public School Barra along with Delhi Public School Kidwai Nagar celebrated Annual Concert “UMANG-2024” on 1St December 2024 amidst great splendor, zeal and resplendence. The entire show was based on the theme “ABHIVYAKTI ” ‘the expression of emotional crescendo. Reverend Founder, Mr. Alok Misra and Pro Vice Chairperson Ms. Bandana Misra were the Guest of Honour. Among the other dignitaries present were Mr. Devavrata Misra, Member, Managing Committee, distinguished Principal, Ms. Jayanti Mitra, Mrs. Rachna Mohotra, Director DPS Kanpur, Mrs. Shilpa Manish, Director, DPS Barra and Principal, DPS Azaad Nagar, Mrs. Puneeta Kapoor, Academic Head DPS Barra and DPS Azad Nagar, Mrs. Manju Passan, Head Mistress, DPS Serrvodaya Nagar and Mrs. Alka Joshi, Head Mistress, DPS Kidwai Nagar.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the Ceremonial lamp by the Guest of Honour accompanied by the Principal and other eminent dignitaries.

The Principal, Ms. Jayanti Mitra welcomed the guests and the gathering and presented the School Report which featured the School Awards and outstanding accomplishments of the students in various academic and co-curricular event. The evening was full of exuberance and exultation with electrifying and scintillating performances. The programme included: ‘WARRIOR OF DHARMA’, MUSICAL NIGHT, WINGS OF GRACE, CHOIR, ASCENT OF CHAMPIONS, SAVE WATER-Blue SYMPHONY, ORCHESTRA, ALLADIN AND THE MAGIC LAMP, MAHARAN’S VALOUR, GIFT OF LIFE and GRAND FINALE- WOMEN EMPOWERMENT enthralled the happy gatherers and replenished their spirits. School management felicitated teachers of the institution who completed ten remarkable years of service. The Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Shilpa Manish Director, DPS Barra and Principal DPS Azad Nagar.

The celebration concluded on a blissful note encouraging students to mark further milestones in their journey of success.
