Home away from home
in a clean & green environment
The separate air conditioned Hostel Facility for Boys and Girls at DPS Azaad Nagar provides a
comfortable home away from home where the emphasis is laid on the overall development of the child in a
disciplined yet nurturing way.
The hostel encompasses all the amenities that help its residents live and grow in an environment that
they can identify as their home and also recognizes the uniqueness of each individual so as to enable
its residents synergize in a manner that enriches residential community life. The Hostel is designed to
provide every facility for study, leisure and overall growth that adds so much to the school days and
beyond.
- Air-conditioned and thoroughly cleaned and sanitized rooms on a 2-3 sharing basis as well as an 8 sharing air-conditioned dormitory.
- Separate hostel facility for 'boys' and 'girls'.
- Emphasis and focus on academics along with special help from teaching staff and resident staff during evening homework classes.
- Full time dedicated resident staff to look after the welfare of the students and ensure that no stone is left unturned to make its students global leaders.
- Courteous and well-trained team of cooks and supporting staff ensure that different varieties of hygienic, nutritious and home style food are available to all the residents.
- Comprehensive Security System manned by security experts along with a CCTV surveillance system covering the entire campus.
- Each wing of the hostel has a High Definition TV, a high speed internet connection, RO purified drinking water, laundry facility, hygienic mess and dining area along with a Hindi and English daily.
- Well-equipped infirmary with trained medical staff and a visiting Doctor along with an emergency tie-up with a nearby hospital.
- Uninterrupted power supply with generator back-up and fire extinguishers at all strategic locations.
- Support staff including ayahs, sweepers, laundry and other maintenance staff work under the supervision of the warden and the administrator.
- Apart from the availability of various recreational facilities, residents are trained in different outdoor and indoor games in the evening under the able guidance of the PTI’s.
- Special outings are planned for all the residents of the hostel on a regular basis.
- Communication with parents is allowed as per a calling schedule wherein students can receive calls from their parents and if required make calls themselves.
