1st ALUMNI MEET

Delhi Public School, Azaad Nagar, Kanpur organized its much awaited first Alumni Meet, Samagam 2022 for the batches, 2009 to 2020, at the tastefully decorated School Hall, on 21st October, 2022. The distinguished guests present on the occasion were the Pro-Vice Chair person of the school, Mrs. Bandana Misra, Founder, Mr. Alok Misra, Member Managing Committee, Mr. Devavrata Misra, Director, Mrs. Rachana Mohotra and Principal Delhi Public School Barra, Mrs. Shilpa Manish. The Principal, Mrs. Punita Kapoor welcomed all the dignitaries.

More than 100 alumni attended the event and looked wonderful in their stylish, gorgeous outfits. The programme started with an enthralling orchestra presentation by the school students. Arjav Jain from the 2016 passing – out batch mesmerized the audience with his melodious voice. Another centre of attraction was Vidushi Agarwal who enthralled everyone with her foot tapping dance performance. Many ex- students shared their fond memories of studying in DPS Azaad Nagar and extended their gratitude towards the school and faculty members for nurturing their talents and giving opportunities not only to grow academically but also to prove themselves in the outer world.

To bridge the gap between the school and its ex-students an Alumni Association was formed. Office bearers were elected to stay connected and committed to the institute as well as to the students of different batches.

The Director of the school, Mrs. Rachana Mohotra addressed the alumni and advised them to continue to do hard work and be useful to humanity. She expressed her happiness at the large turnout. The ex-students were felicitated with mementos in form of silver coins. The Founder, Mr. Alok Misra, while addressing the alumni, emphasized on the need for humanitarian approach towards society. He discussed about ways to give back to the institute and the society at large.

The most scintillating part of the evening was the grand DJ where the alumni danced to their hearts content! The Alumni Meet, Samagam 2022 ended with a conviction to meet again and the alumni bade an emotional farewell to one another.
