The infrastructure of the school provides amenities required in the present day challenging academic environment. Besides a child-friendly orientation of the curriculum, we’ve always laid great emphasis on co-curricular activities. A great thrust is being given to develop the sporting abilities of the students. Our young cricketers, basketball players and swimmers have participated and won laurels at various Inter-DPS and Inter-School events. Our dancers and singers have earned a name in the city and are spreading their wings across the national DPS stage. Our students have won acclaim at numerous Science Model competitions as well.
Years have sped by and it seems like yesterday that enthusiastic learners crossed the threshold of DPS Azaad Nagar. Ever since, we have tried our best to satiate and channelize their natural curiosity and provide them education, encouragement, information and stimulation that they require to blossom into balanced individuals. Today, they look back with satisfaction and delight seeing the extremely rewarding and successful progress.

Delhi Public School Azaad Nagar was envisaged as a seat of learning where children would find holistic education and grow into emancipated well-balanced individual. Today it has grown into a school with all academic aspects of global vision.
Our broad and liberal news are reflected in the wonderful environment of the school which is ever changing to keep pace with modern views and technological advancements. The recent additions to the sprawling infrastructure bear testimony to the school’s commitment. The education system of Audio-Visual education in each class room and the fully equipped language labs has made learning a joy!
In a very short span of time the students of the school have proved their mettle by becoming city toppers in the Board Exams. This has been possible due to the guidance provided by the excellent trained staff who imparts not just knowledge in their respective subject but also motivation to excel without stress.
The school has proved it in all cultural and sports activities as well by excelling in almost all Inter-DPS and Inter-School Competitions, besides hosting many of these successfully on a large scale as well!
The quest and strive for perfection shall continue. The endeavour for excellence remains unchanged.

The sketch drawn a few years back for DPS Azaad Nagar has changed into something more concrete. The lines are more defined and the colors have begun to fill in.
In vast and beautiful environs, the school nurtures education as an intricately planned endeavour. It aims at making children capable of becoming active, responsible, productive and caring members of society. Students are made familiar with various practices of the community by imparting relevant skills and ideas. They are encouraged to analyze and evaluate their experiences, to doubt, to question, to investigate-in other words to be inquisitive and to think independently.
The school imbibes and updates itself consistently regarding the latest innovations concerning pedagogy. The CBSE directive of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) has already been brought into the mainstream of academics. The initiative brought about for classes IX and X shall definitely filter down to all the junior levels making learning at all levels more enjoyable process, free of all stress that there might have been.
Since, the overall development of children requires the harmonious partnership of teachers and parents, we, once again look forward to extending our already existing wonderful relationship.
